Become a Caregiver
As a caregiver, you provide support to people who are directly or indirectly affected by an extraordinary event.
To serve as a caregiver, Carelink will train you in psychological first aid based on the principles of emergency psychology. During an assignment, you will work within an organized framework to support people affected by a potentially traumatic event. You will also provide emotional and practical support to their family members and others affected, and, if necessary, refer them to further assistance within the framework. Experts in emergency psychology will be there to support you throughout the process.
- You are between 20 and 58 years old.
- You have professional and life experience and feel physically, emotionally, and mentally fit.
- Your personality is characterized by strong social skills.
- You hold a position that allows you to take time off for potential deployments or training exercises.
- You can be easily reached by cell phone and email, whether for business or personal matters.
- You are able to express yourself with ease both and in writing, and you have a good command of another national language.
- If you are an employee, you need your employer’s consent.
